In time, all the taxonomic descriptions in the main Flora Malesiana Series (I & II) will be made available through the Flora Malesiana Dataportal, available here.

Flora Malesiana Wiki

All parts of the main Flora Malesiana series that are not suited for inclusion in the Flora Malesiana Dataportal will be made available through the Flora Malesiana Wiki, together with other additional material related to the Flora Malesiana project.

Progress

As of December 23, 2011, the following have been converted to Wiki format:

• Basic information on Flora Malesiana
• Flora Malesiana Bulletin bibliography and contents of the last few volumes.
• Abbreviations and Signs used in Flora Malesiana
• Citation of Serials and Some Books: a list of Journal and Book title abbreviations as used in especially the older Flora Malesiana volumes.
• Cyclopedia of Collectors: First 1,805 entries: All entries starting with E, F, I, J, N, O, Q, U, X, Y, and Z are complete except for images.
• Biographies of major botanists.
• Various small pages.

To Do

• Convert remaining 3,000+ Cyclopedia entries to Wiki format.
• Prepare Cyclopedia pictures for inclusion on the Wiki; include them.
• Convert remaining non-taxonomical parts of Flora Malesiana Main Series to Wiki format.
